Stephanie grabbed my arm, and out the door we went. We went to see THE CHRISTMAS CANDLE. The Gloucestershire setting is magnificent. Susan Boyle is rather weak; but, the show was exactly what I needed to see. I don’t pay much attention to some snooty critic, but I do pay a lot of attention to the sentimentality of my own heart. I like Christmas, I love Christmas music, I cherish my favorite childhood Christmas stories, and I certainly do believe in miracles–that’s my background, my faith, and my fervent belief. So, the movie moved me from beginning to end. If you enjoy a real Christmas movie, don’t miss this. I can’t believe I would have let it pass me by had my wife not dragged me by the ear! What a wonderful time of year, for people of all faiths!
